A tribute to Mewtwo, my favorite Pokemon, using clips from the short film, Mewtwo's Origin, which can be found right here on YouTube.

I really only did this video to get to know what clips I had to work with in the Pokemon fandom. I may make another Mewtwo Origin vid with the song 'Promise to the Setting Sun' from Digimon Tamers: Runaway Locomon.

BTW, I don't own the clips or song used in this video. I just put them together.

EDIT: Scales! I forgot to put in my end credits! Oh well.

  • Promise to the setting Sun is from Tamers, not Frontier.

  • Oh yeah.... Thanks for telling me. I'll change what I said in the description.

    OwO awesome video btw

  • Oh my god, I couldn't stop cryingT_T

  • the part where the other clones began to disappear made me have goosebumps :(

  • It's so cute!

  • Is mewtwo's origin's in a movie or is a movie cuz i know I saw it somewhere just dont remember where.

  • @BloodyMastersword At the start of the first movie, there was a ten minute bonus which was about mewtwo's origin, however it was taken away from the release of the movie and put into a bonus part on the DVD. This is true, they wiped his memory however after loosing that girl (the girl being the scientists daughter) they wiped his memory because he became too upset when she died. The girl had died previously, and the scientist was trying to re-create her...just watch the bonus, its worth it..

  • sniff that almost made me cry I love Mewtwo he is one of my Favorite Pokemon. Bravo bravo wonderful 6 stars out of 6 stars

  • In most forms of fictions, clones gennerally start in a fetal stage and grow up and age like a normal human.

  • wow...that was fantastique...awsome!!

  • Wait, wasn't Mewto a clone of Mew?! I thought he wasn't ever a child but was created by some scientists in a laboratory as an adult?

So how can this movie show his childhood??
