It's the heavy armour version of RX-78-7, i.e. the 7th Gundam, which is independent from RX-78-2 (Unit 2).

There is actually a game for the PS3 that features the 7th Gundam, but it's only out in Japan. The Gundam comes from a side story taking place in UC0081. The game is worth checking out. Also, I saw a 1/100 scale 7th Gundam (not full armour) on the net, so you might be able to get one. It's a pretty cool Mobile Suit.

@prime92 actually the gp03 thrusters is like the 7th since it was built before the gp03 its from the video game mobile suit gundam battlefield record u.c. 0081. Do u think this would be an o.k. starter kit?

Full armor gundam appears in the first chapter on MSV-R Return of Johnny Ridden manga.

I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but just incase they haven't; This Gundam makes an appearance in the Battle Field record U.C. 0081. didn't know they had a kit for this beast though. Time to order one!
