WABC Tribute to Gil Noble was less than stellar and far below what the scholar, activist, and journalist deserved . He believed that programming specifically designed for the Black community should be done as professionally as is possible out of respect for the audience and the subject matter. PLEASE CALL 212 456-7777 and ask for WABC Station manager Don Davis. Tell whomever you speak to, that YOU OBJECT TO WABC's DISCONTINUING THE TRADITIONS OF CLASS COMMUNITY & PAN AFRICANISM STARTED BY GIL NOBLE .
the best thing about the tribute was the clip on Paul Robeson. I hadn't seen that in some....and we may never seen Mr Robeson in this light ever again

If the networks can box up shows like Sex in the City, Deadwood, The Wire ad infinitum then ABC should easily be able to box up a historical program like this one and distribute to every library in the country.....easily. They should at least make it available for purchase, so we can purchase it ourselves (at a reasonable price)
