I built this from scratch, mostly based upon looking at photos of other peoples' cabinets online.

The wood is 5/8" MDF, and I used a new PC running WIndows Vista and an LCD monitor. The controls are all from Ultimarc.com, and I designed and printed the custom marquee. The Software is Mame32, 3DArcade and Visual Pinball. More process photos can be seen at http://www.stexeweb.com/mame

Also, this machine is not coin-operated. It's only for personal use, and I won't be making or selling any future mame cabinets.

  • Good job on your cabinet dude!

  • You should post your cabinet plans to the community. There are a lot of home made designs, but very few incorporate flat screens. Bring mame to the apartment dwellers!

  • nice cab m8 :)

  • Nice On!
