Archos 7 Home Tablet Review - Android tablet

As the video suggests this is a personal review of the Archos 7 Home Tablet (android tablet). I wanted to do a review of this hardware, and hopefully others in future.

I will be trying to do a written review on our currently under development website at http://www.plasmation.co.uk ... Please stop by if have time. Any suggestions on how to improve, things to add etc please make them.

@OItzStubbsy5 To be honest I've not looked at games on it though its quite an older version of android so not sure if could if it would run?

How do you upload videos or movies on it?

@nucup98 Hi. I used Handbrake to pull the video from my DVD and then converted it to an avi format using a separate program. Then you just copy the files across using the usb connection. When connected to computer it just acts as an external drive or memory stick..

Nucup i think i got a idea download the movie ont o your computer get a memory stick on that the dvd ca fit on then convert the file

@netroman28 Yea to be honest I would have liked it if it was more powerful.. But mainly using as video player - though some nice features. But iPhone used mainly for browsing so its kind of last thing picked up.

Still nice though and reckon the newer models will have some extra poke.

@netroman28 Ok, I understand that. If it meets your needs then no need to dish out extra money.

@NigeriaHammad7 Not really. The Archos 7 does everything I wanted really, which was to play videos. Anything extra is bonus. And Gen 8 are more expensive so not really want to spend that extra cash.

You should have waited for the gen 8 tablets
