Barack Obama to Jennifer Granholm: "Good Lookin'"

In 2006, Sen. Barack Obama told a group of Democrats in Detroit, MI that Incumbent Governor Jennifer Granholm was "good lookin'." And then told her husband "there's a reason why you married her!"

Granholm called Obama out for removing his name from the Michigan primary ballot. And after Clinton conceded, Granholm was booed at a Detroit rally for appearing, and then later for mentioning Clinton's name.

Change we can believe in?

This doesn't really prove your point. Obama hasn't necessarily disrespected Clinton or Palin much at all, and hasn't done too much to Granholm either. If you perceive that he has, then you perceive women as being weak and unable to take similar remarks made to male candidates.

Regardless, John McCain is probably a bigger misogynist than Obama. I mean, that's what the Republican party is known for.

well it wouldn't matter who the governor of Michigan is...our economy is based on the auto industry...the auto industry went down and so now our economy has to. our unemployment rates are so high because of the auto industry laying-off so many people. there may be other reasons why Obama picked her. But i can see why you would be mad if she was blaming bush for everything
