More than 100 prominent Indo-Canadian businessmen and community leaders came out to the Himalaya Restaurant in Vancouver's Punjabi Market to tell Conservative candidate Wai Young that they are ready to back her with votes, money and any kind of support to defeat Dosanjh. "We are happy to support Wai Young as we believe she is the right candidate for this riding, especially since Mr. Dosanjh has done nothing for the riding except collect government cheques while insulting the Sikh community,"

He has attempted to debilitate Sikh’s and their democratic aspirations for human rights by raising an unfounded suspicion against peaceful campaigns. Above all he has denied every Sikh their right to utilize democratic process guaranteed to them, like any other citizen of Canada.

Ujjal Dosanjh has pulled facts out of thin air and claimed they are fact. His commentary on Sikh human rights issues are a blatant abuse of power, the power dynamic is unbalanced and he is exploiting his role as an MP to carry out his vendetta against an already vulnerable visible minority. To illustrate this point, he has made claims and refused to substantiated them. Instead, hes made more defamatory remarks and claimed that he is the victim.

In the last little while, Ujjal Dosanjh a duly and fairly elected Member of Parliament has stepped up his attacks on a segment of the Sikh community. He’s stated that Sikh extremism is on the rise and has even claimed that Peaceful Campaigns are “evil in design”. Yet, when asked to substantiate his claims, he has refused to do so, denied any requests for a meeting with the Sikh community and pulled out of a debate on CBC’s Power and Politics.

I have an email message that I sent to Health Minister Ujjal Dosanjh in 2005, informing him that many people with ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)/Fibromyalgia can lead normal lives when close to tropical waters. I checked months later and Ujjal Dosanjh admitted he'd done nothing with that info. I wonder how many suicides Ujjal Dosanjh's witholding of this info has caused ? Do you think he should be charged with criminal negligence ?

Ujjal Dosanjh personally changed legislation relating to a case that was pending against his Office, and gave a 150% increase in government funding to an NDP friend, who was handling the human rights complaint against his Office, and that handler then committed illegal activities to prevent the victim from having a rightful Hearing. There has been nobody in government, politics or the senate who has cared that a Canadian lost their job and was denied their rights by this means. Please help.
