Once more into the breech. What's past is prologue, and for the 5th straight year the RSC will cudgel its brains and strive mightily to see what happens when thirty plus kids combine with a great script to bring the Bard to the boards of town hall in only two weeks. (What fools these mortals be!) Combined with community support and a lot of whirlwind energy, this theater workshop has made the Royalston summers even more glorious.
In the RSC, kids, ages 8 and up, learn the plots, times and language of Shakespeare as well as the camaraderie and work of participating in a workshop theater production. Not merely players with entrances and exits, they run lights, work on sets, create props, choose music and modify costumes as well as act. As in past years, the tried-and- true triumvirate of directors, Norah Dooley, Maureen Blasco, and Beth Gospodarek, will be assisted by Rosalie Dooley Fairchild and Lindsay Limoges, teens who have been participating in the RSC since their ages were in the single digits. - Beth G.

Norah anything you work on turns to magic.
What a great job all of you did to make Shakespeare intersting and up to date.
I really like the news briefs and behind the scene shots.
