I could only remember then river going cry part of this song I watched the HW Sr. movie with george hamilton when I was younger and I have never been able to get this song out of my head ... My family grew up on his music and used to play his tunes .. I miss those long gone days but, thank you so much for the post ... you've made my day!

This recording has made my day - week - year....I have collected Hank Williams recordings for 44 years and this is sure one that eluded me!!! Are the other two songs out there? Thank you so much for sharing!!!!! God bless you!

I remember listing to O'l Hank standing on the floor board and just being able to peek over the dash of my dad's 49 Ford Victoria while traveling along route 66....this is how music sounded back then. It was a very different world and I am sure lucky I was able to experience it first hand. Thanks for the ride Hank.

In the background hollerin' is James H. "Farmer Jim" Neal who was a popular radio personality in Jackson, Mississippi for decades. He was also a lawyer and a member of the Mississippi Legislature for 20 years. (He passed away in November 2006. Hank had come by the radio station, WSLI for an interview and played three songs on Feb. 21, 1950.
