@TubeN3W5 they did build missile defence plus nuclear silos in cuba, haven't you heard of cuban missile crisis when U.S navy and airforce invaded cuban airspace for highspeed low altitude reconnaissance.

Because the Bush's administration was a lot more into reality than the Obama's. Besides, Obama doesn't care about peace, he is in bed with the muslims and is bringing the USA troops from Irak. the soviets only removed the Cuba rockets , because The US removed theirs in Turkey ...
and that was also big part of the reason of the Cuban rokets deploinment.

But this is a highly controversial weapon system, and there is no certainty for all the money spent that these missiles will actually work but I still prefer your theory over reality any day RuskyED :)
