Wonderful song, but please make an effort with future videos. A meaningful collage can be wonderful, but if you haven't got anything better than random google-image results thrown together ramshackle according to the words verse by verse, just use the album cover instead.

My granddaddy probably didnt have a life while living wit his grandmother in that

old wooden shack in Darlington, South Carolina when he joined the Marine Corps.

in 1951 then they shiped him out to Korea. He saw combat and came back with

all his fingers and toes and his mind in place. Sometimes I wish the government would cosider what consequence awaits us forwaging certain wars.

all but CERTAIN wars like the vietnam war. I guess its safe to say that this is

the american holocaust.

the first time i had this song was on an ipod i had my family load up with music and send to me while i was in a small patrol base in marjah, afghanistan. while i was in afghanistan and not vietnam and i'm a marine not a soldier, this song hits home in a BIG WAY for me.
