Chad and i went down to the river and had a great day. He caught his first shoal bass. We each caught 5 or 6 good fish. I got the triple play i was looking for. Shoal bass, spotted bass and largemouth bass all on the same trip.

  • Wonderful scenery; great river. I think bass in running water (especially spots and smallies) are wicked fighters. Great colors on your spots. How long will you be able to fish down there (I see the short sleeves).

  • @Winkiedoodles this is a new spot for me. i am hoping the fish in this river are going to be more active at lower temps than fish in the ponds and lakes. i will be out fishing as long as the water is not iced over.
