anyone knows wether CS3 is slightly as good as cs5 or is it too old? i want to make cod montages and stuff with it, and i cant afford cs5 .. reply would be awesome!

Meh, looks like something that can easily be done in Sony Vegas.

Just "buy" the Trapcode Shine plugin, install it and voila!
If you use After Effects CS5 you'll need a 64-bit plugin.
And no tutorial, because if you don't know how to apply this plugin to your text layer, it probably was not worth the money for buying...

Very nicely done, but I find most of these demo's pretty useless without links to tutorials or the source.
