This is a tutorial video showing how to backup your PSP UMD games as a CSO (ISO) file on your PSP. The link to the program needed is this:

http://umdgen.ps3news.com/utilities.html

NOTE: Only backup UMDs that you own. It is illegal to own an ISO image of a UMD that you don't own a copy of.

  • your saying its illeagal to use this for gams you dont own yet you use CFW which is illeagal

  • @evilmonkeymonster its not illegal to use CFW, it just voids the warranty of the PSP. Sony dont care what you do to your psp but if you void the warranty, they wont help you if your psp bricks or something.

  • Whenever i plug in my usb, it only comes up with the default psp files, i've done as shown but it still won't come up with the umd iso. any suggestions?

  • @cheesepeetza are you using custom psp firmware? if you are, then are you putting the usb mode to umd disc in the vsh menu?

  • its not really illegal, only if you sell it

  • @the1hero1of1time yeah that's true. but you shouldn't really have an iso of a psp game if you don't own the game. then again, nobody can stop you.
