@idontcarei first of all you should look at who is fighting whom. We muslims only defend ourselves, we are not going to let people oppress us, we are going to stand for our rights and for the truth in whatever situation, whether it be against non muslims or muslims. If we are following the commandments of ALLAH we will be 100% just!
Islam means peace and submission, submission to the only God, ALLAH.

Islam is a religion of peace. Mohammed Just fought 48 wars and only one was defensive. Islam respects women. Mohammed led by example by marrying a woman, Khadija, 15 years older, killing and marrying widows and consummating marriage with an eight-year old, Aisha.
