  • Nice. Just wondering what your competition bench is? Is that an Ironmind bar, or did you get it somewhere else?

  • This is an ironmoind bar and my best competition bench is 500 pounds, no shirt but it was back in 2004 and i don't train as much bench now as i did than

  • what an amazing feat of strength, i have done bench with an apollon axle before and needless to say it is very difficult and requires a lot of additional muscle and joint stabilization. Great Lift Dario!!!

  • thanks so much, yeah its so much harder with the axle, but it works all the smaller muscles too you would normally not use

  • Looking good Darius, why don`t you let the spotter have a go he looks like he could do some damage with it. Ali.G

  • Thanks a lot man, yeah my friend dave my spotter is very strong he has squated 600 pounds for 20 reps and also do highland games, he is amazing strong, thanks for your great comment i should be ready to throw well in the games this year

  • bouncing the weights off the chest is cheating.

  • @olson24 The Apollon's Axle from Ironmind is based on an old strongman barbell that I believe was created from the wheels and axle of an old narrow gauge railroad car. The "barbell" weighed approximately 440 lbs, if memory serves correctly.

  • beastly dario, so dario I am curious what is your max on flat dumbbell bench press?

  • Hey man NICE bench... lol ive been lifting in between sports to try and gain weight and muscle but i have really gained anything.. im 14 and 115lbs if that says enough.... Im trying to increase my benching.. any tips?

  • damn ur a beast i can only max out 365 on a reg bar
