This is the Story of the 2008 NBC TODAY Throws a Wedding Couple from Atlanta -- LaDonna & Darnell. The TODAY Show theme for 2008 was "Race to the Altar". The race started with 5 hopeful couples on May 14th; Melissa & Ryan, Buddi & Matt, Cara & Dominic, LaDonna & Darnell, and Annie & Tom. This year's competitions included several challenges such as; a 15 minute Wedding Dress Design Contest, Brides Against Breast Cancer Bake Sale, Studio 1A Treasure Hunt and a 'Name that price' Game.

This video includes LaDonna and Darnell's "Race to the Altar" submission video (with outtakes) and their hopeful road to the altar on June 25th!
