If you get a tab for 7 string youll see most of the song is played on the bottom 6 strings.

What Im saying is this song is played mostly in the "E" range (6- string) with the B string being used minimally. So playing a 6 string down tuned doesnt change it that much. However most other Unearth songs are different so it is better to have a 7.

No. It can be played on a 6. If you tune it to Dropped B it can be played almost identically. Cant be said for all Unearth songs, so you should get the 7.

@CowPuncher yeah thats what i was thinking. to make up for a B string id have to go down to drop B maybe? but then i'd play everything up a few frets
