  • @kanenkitten If a burglar bequeaths his stolen goods to his offspring, those goods still rightly belong to the people he stole them from, or to their offspring. The Crown Estates rightly belong to the descendants of the people from whom they were stolen. That’s true inheritance.

It doesn't matter whether the theft took place a year ago, 1000 years ago or 10,000 years ago - the principle is the same.

  • William the Conqueror was the equivalent of a greedy, selfish and ruthless Mafia boss. But at least he did work for his rewards, unlike today's royals. They have everything given to them on a gold plate from birth without ever having to lift a finger for it. In truth, they own nothing because they have done nothing - or at least nothing that ever needed doing. We don't need some old lady to cut ibbons and grin at flag-waving idiots. There are better things we could spend all that money on.

  • @neilroberts1991 TrashLabour's borrow-and-waste policies got us to £999 billion. Thanks to Skinner and his co-jerks in TrashLabour there is still an annual deficit which has taken us to £1000 billion, and counting. Also, Brown the Clown and his useless tripartite regulation of the banks gave us the backdrop for the banking collapse. If you think anyone is going to believe that 13 years of Labour isn't responsible for the mess we're in now, you're mad.

  • George osbourne ducking the question there.

  • @IlRezzonico it's actually the current government who has given us a £1tn pound debt, all because they've cut the basis for growth in the economy, so perhaps it is you who is brain dead with your lack of factual understanding.

  • Get your facts right. £7 million was the Increase they demanded not how much they cost. This country spends loads more on the Royal family. All in it together? Not a cats chance in hell! Wake up to reality people. No Tory will ever do anything for working class people!

  • @IlRezzonico I agree with all that, but it isn't an argument for keeping the royals.

You are right about Bliar and his war crimes, but none of his illegal wars - Kosovo, Afghanistan or Iraq - would have been possible if the Queen had used her veto to stop him. But she chose not to, and therefore she is partly responsible for those catastophes.

And they are costing us far more than £7 million.

  • I fucking love George Osborne. He's the only white man I'd consider.

    LOL

    Love him.

  • Skinner's a fucking twat. £7m is jack shit for running the head of state. Who does he want instead? His murdering war criminal millionaire chum Bliar? The fact is TrashLabour has given us a debt of ONE TRILLION POUNDS and rising - SIX ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE greater than the £7m. Skinner's a brain-dead communist jerk.

And then there is the Duchy of Lancaster which you keep alluding to, and claiming that the Queen is "giving" something to the taxpayer from. That was stolen by Henry III from Simon de Montfort, 6th Earl of Leicester. Henry then simply gave it to his own son.

Where Simon de Montfort may have stolen it from previously doesn't matter because the point here is that everything the royals "own" was originally stolen. It’s time for the people to take it all back.

  • @ForeverComplaining

If you had researched this, you wouldn't need to ask such a silly question. Back then, the only law was that if you could physically evict or kill a landowner, you could keep the land.

Even as late as the less anarchic 16th century, when better laws were in place, the split with Rome was used as an excuse to seize Catholic owned land and more

And they didn't steal only from our ancestors, but from people all over the world. The British Empire was solely for them, not you.

  • @felix3840 Go on then, give me some evidence, supporting that a majority of these aristocrats 'stole' their land. Go on, I want records and solid evidence if not I'm right (which I am as I have done the research)
