A Video for Yellow Ribbon KY.
Yellow Ribbon KY is a fledgling branch of yellowribbon.org, an international suicide prevention program based out of Colorado. Yellow Ribbon is a community-based program using a universal public health approach. This program empowers and educates professionals, adults and youth in recognizing warning signs of suicide and depression, and working to save the lives of those at risk.
We have a staff member who will receive her bachelor's in psychology May 2008, a staff member who will be receiving her degree in education with a minor in psychology in May 2009, and a staff member who is studying sociology and has worked for a crisis line. Also, five out of the six of the board members are suicide survivors, and all six of us have family or friends who have suffered depression, substance abuse, and/or sexual abuse. We've been there, trust us.

i used to be like that... and it scares to think that i could of been one of them...

This is a great video and I feel that it was so respectful that these individuals were shown at their best or happy. We have to understand that these people were in a lot of pain before they chose to leave us. It is so wonderful that you chose to honor their lives.

I think transitions and movement of the pictures would add more emphasis on your very serious topic. I like the typewriter effect.

Yeah it woiuld have.....but at the tiome I was so focused on this I hadn't worried about any of the extras except for the typewriter print. I'm jsut happy that this vid is still reaching out there to people. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
