For situations like storms, and particularly for snow, I'd recommend adding a googlemaps-based "near realtime" page where subscribers/visitors can add data via pinpoints - snow depth, etc - data simply not available elsewhere. Another way that might be easier to manage (at least in its present incarnation) is of course the Facebook. Some of us are working pretty hard to raise the level of discourse on FB, although that's probably as Quixotic as trying to fix either KUOW or math education,
I appreciate being talked to like an adult and being provided more technical information on weather conditions and forecasts. Other weather forecasts include a spin to leave the viewer with a good feeling and are presented at about a 3rd grade level.
Hey Cliff: this is awesome! I would suggest including links to the sites you use in the video as well as your blog. You can put the links in the Description field of the video if you click "edit" in the video list. You can add some tags, a description, etc.
Cool!

Nice! the heck with KUOW. NPR == "National Petroleum Radio" that station is afraid of it's own shadow.

Way more informative than "audio only". And no need to compromise with anyone. Win-win!

Nice job - great presentation. How about 15-30 seconds on marine implications, for those of us looking at spending the weekends on the water.
