This was filmed in Riggins Idaho. You'll see the boat in real time then slowed down to about 40%. Race team #16 comes close to a crash all caused by a 50 mph head wind. This is as close to a wreck as you can get! The boat went past vertical when the nozzel of the pump caught the water at the last second, putting them back into the water. They kept going and never missed a beat! This was shot in 2006 not 2007 Sorry about the typo.

  • @member54289 I sure would like to go would be great to get the first race on the snake plus see all the sweet classic cars.

  • what would your ghist on haveung soemthing like that with three engines basicly...?

  • @FurryKing19 They have that in tour boats. They run 3 chevy vortec motors in them.

  • what type of engine and drive sytem are in these boats>? my grandpa use to build mini jacoby racing boats, they would just put and old 35 to 50 hp johnson sea horse or evinrude, i beileive they even used elgins or however they are spelled.,

Rite now me, my father, and my grand father are building a wood/fiberglass jacoby style boat 12ft long, 2 seater. We still dont know if were gonna do a strait inboard-strait shaft with rudder, a outboard, or wewere thinking of a inboard with a jet-drive sys

  • @cobra96svt570 you should take a look at the river hydros we also shot footage of. They run a 4 cyclinder merc with a 2 blade prop on a wood hull and hit speeds in the 70's. Just lookup Cal-Ore river hydros. They run in about 8-10 inches of water with their props.
