She has no connection with the University of Oklahoma, the football team, nor the state, that I've found. More likely, a mere word association with "Boomer" Esiason and football, and a phrase she's heard that she mistakenly thinks pertains to him.

She is quite adorable though.

@SDemask I follow the college game. I know about Texas and Oklahoma. I also know that Boomer Esiason attended the University of Maryland, and there is no correlation between him and "Boomer Sooner". For the viewer not submersed in the love lives of models and rock stars, and without the knowledge her fiancee was a Sooner fan, she came off as someone who was associating Esiason with "Boomer Sooner".
