This is my second song, coming with a heavy hip hop themed track displaying yet another element of what will be on my free album coming out sometime soon.

Street corner music

(Verse 1)
This is street corner music; with the beat as the canvas
with lyrics, grey as everyday, with Picasso's balance
Talent, to make up for social imbalance, equally
Equipped with boom boxes, pumping bass with bad frequency
Frequently, freestyle, breaking words to compound
while b-boys, broke to it, the other way around
No passing the crown, no kings and queens
just concepts, of fist fucking death with depth six foot deep
And beautiful women aren't whores; nor plastic
but got fat asses, that go on to red light traffic
the street corner, where quality is above quantity
the philosophy of pushing products of a prodigy,
Listeners getting high off the content they hear
see, real artists paint images that fade, just to reappear
This street corner music, never dies, when
we hit rewind, and play it back to relive it again

Chorus:
Street corner music
Where we make music solely for the love of it
Street corner music
Where we don't fuck with lyrics like friends with benefits
Street corner music
Where auto tune wasn't in tune and everything was in truth
In you, like the studio was a confessional booth
This is street corner music

(Verse 2)
This is street corner music; stringing a guitar
until the tips of his fingers bleed, cause he's crawled so far
could'a grown to been a star; driving the fanciest car
turned down the devils margarita; then sold out the bar
sub-par is what his fan base is, maybe someday
somehow, his platform will grow, beyond the subway
Forgotten caution, throwing it beyond the yellow line
cause they say at the end of this tunnel, a light will shine
on the positive side, he's one in a two man tandem
The jazz man, noting melodies you can't imagine
It's hard to fathom; what he's done with his gift
but he's happy, the thought counts and life is what it is
Those who stop to listen, it's like oh, my, god
though most don't stop to listen, in the year of the I-pod
This street corner music, serves a never ending menu
these vocals grow louder; the smaller the venue

Chorus:
Street corner music
Were we make music solely for the love of it
Street corner music
Where we don't fuck with lyrics like friends with benefits
Street corner music
Where auto tune wasn't in tune and everything was in truth
In you, like the studio was a confessional booth
This is street corner music

(Verse 3)
This is street corner music; or what's left of it?
On the write side, they don't write no' more they step to it?
Cats ignore the vets, spittin concepts
ill--like-sickle-cell—never flowing to intelligent heads
take notes scribbling in stone, this loss I mourn
So I threaten hip-hop's-climate through my brain storm
But, maybe, we are beyond the point of no return
Maybe, leaving ourselves behind is a lesson learnt
My train of thought; is rolling down the railroad
and then it stops; like where did all the soul-go?
The Jazz solo's and all the raw vocals
Co-Co's gone cold cause there's no more locals
Stringing chords on a thousand dollar guitar
Beauty, for only mere pennies in a jar
This street corner music
So don't you abuse, confuse, or lose this..
