I don't why we don't hear Thurman Munson's name mentioned more in Hall of Fame discussions. The only Yankee to ever win Rookie of the Year and MVP. A two-time world champion, Yankee Captain, and his death shook the sports nation. To me he's a no-brainer.

When I was a kid I flew from Miami to Oakland just to watch Ricky Henderson who was my favorite player. He was injured and didn't play any of the games.
Today, my girlfriend made me go look at something in this old room in my house. I forget what it was because all I saw was my box filled with baseball cards AND MY SIGNED RICKY HENDERSON BALL!
I lost this ball years ago. I can't believe it! I had already even added this video to my quicklist 2 watch later. The world works in funny ways
