@joggler66 hello from the USA....the reason why you see "The Flintstones" cartoon advertising cigarettes is because this cartoon was originally meant for adults.....it was an adult cartoon based on the old TV show "The Honeymooners" starring Jackie Gleason. It was even on at night during "prome time" when all the adult shows were on. The show eventually evolved in to a childs cartoon. Yes, people viewing this cartoon ad "today in 2011" would think it was geared to children
