The Weta Trimaran is a fantastic sailing machine. Quick, nimble and fantastic FUN!
She is easy to sail as you can see ... I took this vid one hand on the camera and the other on the helm!
I came out of Auckland harbour and raced through the Motuihe channel on a lovely downwind leg. Then rounded Motuapu sailed around Rangitoto.
It was just one of those really special winter days and I had the gulf to myself.

Nice, very nice!!! Thats what we sailors do, when we're not sailing we go on Youtube and watch sailing videos? Do we have a life or what? lol Would love to hop on one of this, looks like a blast!!! I sail a cat ;)

How do these things handle the swell?

Very stable as all three hulls take the brunt of it.

Not long really, just under 4 hours. I stopped for coffee in Issy Bay and then lunch in the bay on the other side. Great day for it.
