We could destroy our health insurance system by allowing companies to freely sell health insurance across state lines.

The winners? The big medical insurance companies. The losers? Consumers, especially those who have preexisting conditions.

This type of reform isn't likely to help us much and could ultimately destroy our health insurance system.

  • The drug dealer talks to the other drug dealer and say...hey, I know my profits aren't going to be deterred by your presence..I think the price will go up, instead. More supply doesn't equal cheaper prices....then of coarse reality comes in and there is one less drug dealer because one is killed. The streets are very much like all business. If I knew there wasn't food sold along a highway and I owned the only restaurant...I would love that. Bottom line, don't listen to this guy.

  • Buying across state lines won't bring down costs. Insurance companies will just close a bunch of state branches and become big national firms and you'll be left with the same few choices you have now.

  • I love how the insurance agent is arguing against competition. LOL
