You don't have to WIN a derby prep race, Genius... If you knew anything about the subject, you'd know that entries are taken and preference is given to those with the most Graded Stakes earnings...

Lookin At Lucky got bumped around too much, but he proved his worth in the Preakness.

A 20-horse field is a lot of horses, glad there were no accidents or spills.
Maybe 14 or 15 horses max in this race. 20 horses is a bit much, a real cavalry charge into the clubhouse turn.

Half the horses in the Kentucky Derby don't belong. How did horses like Super Saver get in? He didn't win a Derby prep!

USA has top class racing with some great horses but UK racing tracks are much nicer that the USA's.
