This band kicks! The composition is so pretty and the harmony Eric Burdon gets from band nothing short of awesome. He is now officially my favorite singer. Born too late tho I guess. RIP Eric. Eternal talent I say-

"This place" is where The Man puts us, more specifically, being owned and manipulated constantly by the corporate industrial world in which we all live, now and the sixties. It's clear from when he describes the father and says I've been workin' too long, babe.
