HISSY FIT ( www.matthewhiscock.com ) http://soundcloud.com/matthewhiscock

Working with sound is like sculpting stone -- you've got to destroy it a little to get anywhere!" jokes Newfoundland-born dj/producer Matthew Hiscock, also known as Hissy Fit. With tracks released digitally and on vinyl on Car Crash Set, Phuturelabs and the new Swing & Skip Records, he's gotten play on the UK's RinseFM and KissFM and received multiple mentions in XLR8R magazine. He's also played live sets at Montreal's highly respected events Piknic Electronik and MUTEK.

When not making or spinning tunes, he runs the Make Some Bass production interview blog, which has featured Bok Bok, Ghislain Poirier, Submerse and Resketch, Dubbel Dutch and more. In his remaining spare minute he writes for Music Think Tank and coordinates the Big Things! music collective.

SUBMERSE ( soundcloud.com/submerse )

Hailing from Cheshire, Submerse is an esteemed DJ/producer with a distinct and recognizable sound that traverses two-step, garage, bassline and
funky whilst being punctuated by a myriad of unique and personal influences. The past two years have seen the Sub.FM regular at his most prolific,
releasing records on his own label, Night Audio, alongside the highly acclaimed 'Hold It Down' on Well Rounded Records, EPs on Party Like Us, Mutant Bass, Maltine Records (Japan) and Fortified Audio with remixes appearing on releases from Atlantic Records and Ministry of Sound. He's had tracks featured by Pioneer Japan on some of there latest equipment and sponsorship from Terratag Clothing.

Amidst a plenitude of productions, 2010 also saw support emerge from influential media titans such as
DJ Mag, XLR8R, Big Up, Radio 1 and Ministry of Sound Radio, with him playing and hosting the Essential Garage Show more than once on the latter.
