@makeupfan141 i think that makeup school is awesome if you can afford it and have the time, otherwise, I think practicing, reading makeup books, and looking around on youtube can really teach you everything you need to know. I am self taught, personally. In Chicago you do not need a makeup license but I believe there are some states you need to. :-)

@alexq39 ask if you can assist them in anyway. get them coffee, organize, clean brushes. That's what I did and I ended up being a full on assistant. GOOD LUCK! xo
