The Word of God contains tons more than the "ignorant and unstable" (2 Pet 3:16), who will "not tolerate sound doctrine" (2 Tim 4:3) and "wrest things unto their own destruction" (2 Pet 3:16) will ever be divinely given to see. For the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit is given only to the obedient (Acts 5:32) - being those who submit to the ONLY Church that Christ founded and commissioned to TEACH - with His GUARANTEE that the gates of hell would never prevail against it.

This is just great Francis! I love the way the scripture phrases coincide with the actual prayer being spoken. And the inscriptions pulsate like heartbeats with each spoken phrase of the litany. Really effective!

Perhaps so, but she was a godly woman, a woman that God Himself decided was worthy to carry Himself; to allow Him to come to us and save us from ourselves. That makes her pretty important in my book. She bore Him willingly, she obeyed Our Father unconditionally, trusting in Him completely, and did His will in all things. You can't knock it, and it's sad that only the Catholic Church appreciates this.

Well said. I use this posting to pray this Litany every evening after I recite the rosary. This helps me a lot. Thank you for posting.

It is up to us Catholics to teach Holy Scripture as we were the ones to write the Bible. The Catholic Church had existed in spirit since the Creation and established on earth by Christ himself. All other Christian churches are man-made.

The Mother of God is the ultimate perfection of His work of grace, unlike any other. Hence it is truly fitting that all generations should venerate her, sing her praises, "call her blessed", as the Holy Spirit, her Divine Spouse, Himself inspired her to prophesy.
