an interesting direction for mr. projectile to take - i like this new experiment with the lovely vocals; the vocalist (titi albrecht) has a bjork-ish quality to her voice and quirky delivery. side A (which should be played at 45 rpms) showcases albrecht's voice and the percussive elements don't overpower - instead they support and provide a nice backdrop along with projectile's very lovely melodies. side B (which should be played at 33 rpms) cuts up and splices albrecht's voice a bit but it doesn't have the herky-jerky approach of prefuse73 - the effect is much more restrained and flowing as the different elements of the track play nice with each other.

  • Wild. Never knew there were two versions of this song..."You Need" is definitely in the same key and what not, but with a few more chord progressions. This is quite interesting to hear for the first time! Beautiful track...

  • Nope. definitely Wild Orchids. title is spot on. Beautiful track.

  • still nice but i prefer the original 'You Need' the vocal suits the music better, this vocal sounds like its being sung over the original as a backing track whereas the original the voice is part of the texture of the song. This is just my opinion so dont hate!

  • @Razeluxe01 actually it looks like the latter part of the song incorporates anot her mix

  • @Razeluxe01 yes it is definitely called You Need

  • I thought this song was called "You need" That's what I've seen it called at other places.

  • Beautiful
