jerry reed dosent get enough credit for his slow songs only his novelty songs

I love this song, the way the music builds with each verse is amazing, and his voice is so beautiful... sends chills up my spine.

Me too! I think there was probably alot of stuff that Reed did that didn't get released. I also wish they'd start by at least releasing every RCA album on cd. Also would like to see b-side stuff like High Rollin' and In Between get released. I've often wondered if he and Waylon did any other songs in 83 when they collaborated on Hold On I'm Comin'.

I noticed I hadn't put this one up. I wish BMG would have had the foresight to add the unreleased songs from this session when they released the CD. How great would it be to hear "Danny Boy" done in the Jerry Reed fashion?
