  • Macarthur is one of the best UCSB players ever. Not sure but I think he was drafted by the NBA Celtics but never made a lasting impression in the pros--maybe in Europe.

  • I was there: 3rd row dead center after sleeping overnight (3rd in line!) for it. Was THE BEST sporting event I've ever been to (the other win over UNLV is up there.) I'm still hoarse from yelling so loud...we crushed those thugs!

  • We need to get the ThunderDome back to it's former glory..

  • this guy is boss use to live in sb think he moved down south some where coached my sister

  • Hell yes. I remember it like it was yesterday.

  • Carrick DeHart was a great Gaucho, mentor and coach and those of us at the Eastside Boys Club in Santa Barbara remember his time spent with us playing and teaching Bball. Dwayne Austin

  • I will always remember Isla Vista going nuts after the game. What a great time that was.

  • how i wish we could fill the thunderdome like this again

  • One of the best times of my life. I had student tickets and was one of the bodypaint crowd. I remember having a migraine from yelling so much and my favorite memory was when Butler blocked Freeze and started waving his finger at the crowd. The next possession Freeze sent his shot into the stands and we LOST IT.

  • as much as i hate ucsb that was still pretty cool

the glory days of the big west, unlv, ucsb athletics and ucsb basketball.

  • @bradd774 I couldn't get a ticket to this game, only home game I missed during my freshman year.

But I do remember Adris Jones, Muse, and Lucis Davis.
