  • I'm pretty old if I can remember Annette! But I always loved her and this was my favorite song by her - - I love it. It should have been #1 - - no justice in this world, is there????

  • A very underrated oldie you never hear on any oldies radio stations today...

  • SON OF GUN; JUST MADE IT!!! In 1960 "O Dio Mio'" peaked at No. 10 thus just making the Billboard's Top 10 and it spent a total of 12 weeks in the Top 100...

  • First heard this lovely song five years ago on a Real Oldies 1690 AM in Chicago. Great voice and I was born back in 65...........

  • Love This Song....

  • Which label & record number was this foreign issue EP 45? What country was it from? Hard to tell from the cropped scan of the front cover......

  • This was a strange period in pop music---1960--63, Real Rock had faded, Elvis in the army ,Edie Cochrane and Buddy had died, and up pops all those squeaky clean handson young men, with combed back hair, who all seemed to be named -Bobby. Music became more melodic and mainstream, plus of course all the 'Surfin' influence came with it. Then of course--THE BEATLES, who put a new edge back in pop music.

  • @mrob75 and that's because "oldies" stations don't recognize many of the TRUE oldies....it's always the same playlist and the same artists..just over and over and over and over... very sad!

  • A BEAUTIFUL SONG FROM A BEAUTIFUL LADY, GOD BLESS YOU ANNETTE

  • BELLA!!!!!!

  • Thanks very much for this. i bought the single 45, way back then, but have not been able to trace a Cd? compil of it at all. She was not really known in the Uk, but i guess she was pretty much familiar in the US.

  • Very nice - in the style of "Venus" by Frankie Avalon.
