Punch & Judy recite beat poetry on the banks of the River of Madness and Punch shoots his ol' lady down in cold blood. (No marionettes were harmed in the making of this film.) This poetry was written through the process of "Dual Divination", a term coined by Dr. Ryan P. Henry to describe his revolutionary new writing style. The selected poems were written in this method. The style entails that the writing be done in tandem with another author, each adding to the text only one character at a time and alternating turns until the text is finished. This technique is similar to using an Ouija board and also like a spontaneous William Burroughs "cut-up" method in real time.
