I just finished making a quilt like this!!! I made a rag quilt version and it looks amazing (in my opinion anyway). I'm uploading a video of it and I'll link it as soon as it finishes loading. Thanks for the tutorial!! :D

Also, I thought incorporating some solids would be a good idea just to break up all the different patterns and themes I'll have going on. Do you think that would work? Thank you!

I so enjoy all of your tutorials! Thank you for making them for us! I have a quick question. I am making a quilt for my 7 year old niece. i tried to persuade her into some of the adorable precut fabrics, but she wanted a total mishmash of themes and colors (kitties and soccer for instance). So, I've been left to figure out a scrappy pattern for this. I am new to quilting so I need something simple and that she will like. Do you think this pattern would work for a truly scrappy quilt? Thanks!
