  • Your gears seem so much shorter than mine and i have 4.56's. I run mine to around 6500rpm in 2nd gear and when i hit 3rd and it chirps the tires i look down and i'm doin 71. Any chance of you gettin a 0-90 run? Mines cammed and stuff now and it does 0-88 in 8.31, also my 8th mile time lol. 8.31@88mph.

  • @6spdbbody Yeah it could be relative to the tire size as well, what are you running on yours, with this video, this was with the short 315/35/17, it now has 325/30/19's on it so it will even it out a little better, at least I think. Motor in my car is pretty tired and it may have to be rebuilt here really quick.

  • I watched this a few times to see what it did. I would have liked to have seen redline in 4th & 5th but, don't want you to break the law. Nice video.

    2nd 45 mph @ 5000 rpms (redline)

    3rd 60 mph @ 5000 rpms (redline)

    4th 75 mph @ 4400 rpms

    5th 80 mph @ 3500 rpms

    6th 75 mph @ 2200 rpms

  • @mflores910 Yeah redline in 4th and 5th would of been a tad fast for the roads around here. By doing the calculation based on rear gear, trans gear and rear tire height and let's say redline limit of 5500

    4th would be 98.7

    5th would be 133.3

    6th would be 197.3

  • how did you get the cluster from a camaro to work in there?

  • @hambone6988 Fairly simple to do, you have to make a harness to interface the to connectors for the caprice cluster to the single camaro cluster unit, you also have to make some modifications to the board assembly for ABS light and things like that.

  • @Bajaheat Ah typical LT-1 sending unit, mechnical gauge hooked to hit shows 40 psi at idle when warm, I am good. Thanks though.

  • low oil pressure not good
