A great example of the great energy on a Film and Audio Production department collaborative effort. Using six cameras including Sony EX1's as well as both Canon and Nikon DSLRs, and recording both direct sound, double-system sound, and a ProTools session, BUCDIA alum, students and faculty all worked together to create a promotional piece for DESTROY BABYLON's latest album. Produced by BUCDiA's director of Media Production Howard Phillips, co-directed by Director of Post Production Ernie Shaeffer. The band DESTROY BABYLON here is ramping up and rehearsing for the multicamera coverage which involved Sony EX1's, Canon and Nikon DSLRs as well as camcorders - this behind-the scenens video was filmed by FIlm students Anne Bost with additional camera from Ricardo Dematos. Operating on the shoot is DP Tom Fitzgerald, along with Ernie Galan on jib and camera, Dave Bouley on DSLR & slider, Ricardo Dematos on DSLR and Steadicam Jr, Juan Coa as dolly grip, with assistacne on cameras from Kyo Moon; Paul Hirshberger is also DSLR'ing in the shadows, set photographer Emily Hamilton. Slate, Data wrangling and additional camera by André Phillips, the ProTools recording by Joe Cook; Steve Cerrelli's Location sound class can also be seen. Editing of this piece is Juan Coca and Anne Bost, current Film students. Fun times for a great result - and keep your ears & eyes out for the upcoming album too! All music is copyrighted.
