Ok so this only works on PSP 1000s (FAT) and hackable 2000s (slim). If you want to check if your 2000 is hackable, take out your battery and check the date code.

2000 Series Date Codes go as follows:

7C: Hackable.

7D: Hackable.

7(Any Letter later than D): Hackable.

8A: Hackable.

8B: Hackable.

8C: Has Very High Chance that it is Unhackable.

8D: Unhackable.

The Information below is only for people who have a PSP with a firmware lower than 6.60

(1) Open up the folder and find the folder named "UPDATE"
(2) Drag that folder to PSP:GAME (the one in your PSP)
(3) Now navigate to the GAME section in your PSP and find 6.60 Update (something like that)
(4) Open it and update :D Now you can follow this tutorial

dude, i got a problem... today i played gta lcs and then my cheat device vanished (auto unloaded i think i never unloaded it) and then my psp crashed after some time, and when i turned it back on my psp kinda bricked or something because when i start game or any app my psp crashes... internet, pics, music and videos work fine but i cannot start anything and when i wanted to update i got DNS error (which never happened before)... i there any way to fix it?

@1998adam8991 i tried use it... when i started hellcats my psp froze at the "PSP Play Station Portable" screen and then it crashed again..... :( is tere any other way to do this?

@1998adam8991 how do i do this? will you teach me or make a video? please all i know about formatting mem stick is that it will remove everything that i have saved on it....

and do i have to just click the format opton in settings or i have to connect it to computer and format?

my psp is not really bricked (i heard that bricked psp's can be turned on but they have permant black screen) just apps/UMD's wont start.....
