BTW, If you liberals TRULY believe there should be 'seperation of Church and State", why then did the ACLU(Who sue over manger sences and "Merry Christmas")defend several State Colleges and Airports that installed "foot washes" for Muslims in thier bathrooms? Muslim foot washing is a religious practice.

Okay, I've gotta say something with this one. Clearly, you don't really understand what separation of church and state means. It means, that in rules and laws governing our lives that come from our elected officials should be in no way influenced by or represent any religion. Foot washes in a public, non-government facility is NOT an example of how separation of church and state does not work. Sorry.

my issue is,

how can we ignore instructions in the bible such as the instructions of sacrifice, and leviticus 18:18 "do not wear clothes made from more than one type of material", but then choose to believe the statements against homosexuality?

Yeah I'm gay. Why do people hate me so much. I plead of you, get to know me personaly before you wish me to be cast to hell. I did not choose to be gay. My being gay does not hurt you. We and I cannot turn anyone else gay and I wouldn't want to. This has been one hell of a life for me, fighting for me freedom. I would not wish anyone to be forced to go through that. I just know this is who I am and I can't turn straight, so I am proud and ok with who I am.

I think the separation of church and state means that the church will no longer have real power over the government or it's leader. Like it was in England. Even the king had to give money to the clergy back in the day. Also I think the statement in the bible on homosexuality was just another thing put in place to prevent the Hebrews from dying out back then. You know like eating pork because it's a dirty animal cuz it eats where it craps and it would most likely lead to illness and then death.
