  • Is there a detent in the knife keeping it from flipping out?

  • @BillyOwnsTrevor There is a detent, but not much pulling it back in by itself. However there is no way it will open by itself by flipping the knife without using the thumbstuds. I have had the thumb studs catch on items in my pocket and have the blade slightly open. Luckily no damage.

  • awesome, although i prefer the regular too bad now is dead...

  • @nonglotter thanks!

  • If you had to give up this or your strider, which would you give up?

  • @traderjoes probably the sebenza as they are less rare than the striders.

  • @jeffersontool Oh, they are! They can even split human hair. They are probably the sharpest knives you can get.

  • For $400 it better be as sharp as a 5-body sword!

  • @SuperKnifenut I agree, CR knives are nicely designed and very high quality. I just prefer the design of the Strider.

  • @Spectre426 yeah i suppose striders are great knives and everything but i think Mr. Reeves work is very elegant while still being able to do hard work

  • striders are over priced prybars crk is much superior
