The Arranger is F. Melius Christiansen

  • God created us with a will and the freedom to use it for good or evil. We are not robots. Adam and Eve chose to sin. They did not have to. Who would want their children to be robots who had to love their parents because they were mindless robots? Therefore we are accountable for our sin. Praise God that He forgave and saved me some years ago on a Dec-21. I have not been the same since!

  • I thought it was a delightful recording. We sang 'Fairest Lord Jesus' in Blackmoor Village Church last Sunday but clearly the La Sierra version is superior

  • u think God created sin?

you think when people sin they are doing anything related to God?

    God didn't create sin.

    God didn't create rock.

God didn't move Eminem or Marilyn Manson to write their kinds of music.

  • They say that God created the world. They also say that he made mankind, to his image. Then how could any human do things that have nothing to do with God?

  • Does anyone know who's arrangement this is?

  • Using a talent to glorify God, period, is special in itself.

The music these musicians play may be heavy and distasteful to you. Hymns may be to them. Who's to say which is right? They both honor God with the same amount of intergrity and spirit.

To each his own, right? The bible never demands a specific type of music. I'm sure that God would be pleased his children are glorifying him..

  • My friend

Suppose there are some who are brilliant in what they do, such as a genius computer hacker, etc. Did God give him the talent to use in hacking?

Personally I don't think God, as holy and as honored as He is, has anything to do with heavy metal music.

Do you think they'd sing rock music in heavy?

Does God have anything to do with those who first started rock? the likes of Beatles? Presley? and such?

    God bless~~~

  • I guess I don't understand how rock music doesn't glorify God. Did He not give musicians that favor rock music the talents they have been gifted with?

  • Christians need to return to this kind of music that gives God glory and turn away from rock heavy metal music, which has nothing to do with God's holiness and magnificence
