Marine Protected Areas have been demonstrated to benefit marine life and humans. But the size and design is critical for the protection of the ecosystem, and the inhabitants and visitors that swim into the region. This excerpt from the documentary Sharks: Stewards of the Reef features marine ecologist and National Geographic Fellow Dr. Enric Sala and the Papahanumokuakea.
