lol its just start up man,, wat im sayin is less apps or softwares running at startup meaning faster startup.. well the anti virus in the pc wudve made it take longer to startup u know wat i mean? anyways, know ur pc b4 u dis it.. cheers!

the ibook g4 only 1.42ghz 1.5gb ram boots faster than my inspiron 1525 1.67ghz, and 2gb ram was slower. Only reason; mac os x boots faster, not the computer itself.
