This is an example of stuttering using my Canon HF200 video camera and a Class 6 Sandisk Extreme III SDHC card (16GB). Normally I record at the FXP rate (17mb/s) but for this recording I chose to record at the MXP rate (24mb/s). The Sandisk card hasn't been heavily used and is supposed to be guaranteed 30MB/s (megabytes, not megabits, which is what I believe Canon uses), and yet the recording stutters, which I haven't seen before. It's annoying.
Recorded in P mode at 30P with a DM-100 microphone in shotgun setting (meant to have it at 120 degrees for stereo but forgot to check the mike before recording). Note that when I turned the camera toward the crowd the shotgun setting did a great job of reducing the sound of the band (and they were loud, let me assure you) and picking up the sound of the fans. It was unintentional on my part, but it does work.
The game was 17-14 Auburn over MSU. Go Dawgs!
That tiger walk was a disaster the way it was set up right in front of the MSU student entrance.

the audio is excellent on that setting, but I agree the stuttering is frustrating. Have you sent a copy to ScanDisk to get their comments?
