Time Warp in Paradise

Playing Hang in Hawai'i...parts of Hawai'i haven't changed for millions of years, other parts are the same as 100 years ago, or 50 years ago. Playing Hang on the beach, flashing back into black and white film and Super-8 movies, then back to the present again...

Thank you, muckleD, I'm honored to have your praise! Your explorations of ethnic rhythms have been very inspirational to me, and I'm just beginning to scratch the surface of Hang playing! It is remarkable how different rhythmic patterns, as in many of your pieces, can completely alter the character of those few notes available on any single Hang. I hope to "Hang Out" with you guys and learn and share even more, this year or next!
