I keep getting comments about Rent. People haven't actually been watching the video. Harry Potter has the same message as Rent (love can conquer anything), which was not based on a true story, and no it wasn't based on an era in American History, maybe indirectly, ok. Rent is a modern adaptation of "La Boheme"... In case you didn't know, that was set in the 1800s. All the characters in Rent reflect all the characters in La Boheme. Larson switched the disease from Tuberculosis to AIDs.

If you want to debate on Rent, by all means send me a message. If I receive another notification regarding Rent, I'll remove the comment option.

@gaeri0813 FIRST of all, Rent is a fictional story, just like Harry Potter, and is based on an opera. SECOND of all, Harry Potter's message is the same as Rent and it's that through friendship and love you can conquer anything...
